Why is black ops 2 so expensive Reddit

Games like BO2, BO1, and WAW are $60, $40, and $20 respectively, even though they’re all several years old. What’s with that?

I was feeling pretty nostalgic today and wanted to play some zombies so I went on steam to buy call of duty black ops 2... BUT IT WAS €60 I cant use key resellers because for some reason I got banned from g2a and there support told me to basically dox myself to them to get my acc back (which im not gonna do) and that game is almost 10 years old so why is it so expensive?!? I hope that when deal is complete, Microsoft will reduce prices of CoD games on Steam. And we can expect latest CoD games on Steam, right?

Well most of the old cod games are still quite expensive but i noticed bo2 especialy pricey comin in at 80 australian dollary doos.

I'm one of those "patient" gamers, and I've decided to play through the call of duty franchise.

So far I've completed CoD:MW, CoD:MW2, and I'm over halfway through CoD:Black Ops. I've already been able to purchase both CoD:MW3 and CoD:Ghosts for 10 dollars or less each! I'm still, however, missing CoD:Black Ops 2. But I noticed that Black Ops 2 is significantly more expensive, relative to the other CoD titles released.

For example: MW3 (2011) can be purchased, used, with complete game, case, and manual for under 10 bucks.

Call of Duty: Ghosts (2013), likewise, can be picked up used, with game, case and manual for less than 15.

Yet Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (2012) is pretty much $20+

Was there something about Black Ops 2 that makes it more desirable? Did it have better gameplay/graphics/multiplayer/features? I just find it a little odd. Any help for a cheap-ass gamer is appreciated.

So my question is why is black ops 2 on Amazon and the Microsoft store still $40-60. In what world is a game this old still worth $40, its a conspiracy I tell you what.
