Who is the father of loves baby in you

She had taken a pregnancy test and although she did not know the sex of the baby at the time, she believed it was a girl.

From then on, Joe becomes obsessed with the thought of being a father and he is heard talking about his baby daughter.

With this in mind, it seems although the pair had a feeling it would be a girl, it was never actually confirmed.

When they eventually found out the baby's sex, they discovered they were having a boy.

In the teaser video for the third season, Joe is heard saying a boy "was not what we were expecting".

Another fan pointed out: "He does say in the trailer 'a boy is not what we were expecting'.

"Meaning they were told the wrong gender for the baby (as far as we know at least)."

The whole story behind the change of sex will hopefully come to light at the start of the third season.

Some promotional photos have been released and they show Joe and Love making a fuss of their baby son.

In another image, Joe is seen carrying Henry in a harness strapped around his chest.

Fans will be interested to see whether he is able to form a bond with his child or if he sees him as a reflection of himself.

You season 3 airs on Netflix on October 15.

So I just rewatched the first two seasons and wow, it’s even better the second time around.

I know many people believe the baby is actually Milo’s, but something from episode 9 of season 2 made me think that it might actually be Joe’s baby.

So in that episode we see Love get extremely drunk. Now I’m not sure how drinking during the First Trimester works, but I’m guessing that heavily drinking like that would be incredibly harmful to the fetus. Looking at Love’s want for a perfect family, I doubt she would something the reckless that could potentially harm the fetus.

I believe she told Joe that because she knew he wouldn’t kill a pregnant woman, especially if that woman was carrying his child. I think it was after they made amends that she actually got pregnant.

Also, I’m not 100% sure on genetics, but I highly doubt Love would try to pass Milo’s kid as Joe’s. The men are drastically different in appearance. I don’t think that we will ever get a real answer seeing as even if Joe tried to get a paternity test, the Quinn’s own LA. Love could easily have to clinic change the results to show the baby is Joe’s.

Now on to my theory for the Season plot of Season 3.

I believe there will be a small time jump. Maybe 2 months. Where Love is 6-8 months pregnant. I think she will give birth at the very end of the season, but I’ll circle back to that.

The season will start of with Joe and Love emulating the perfect American family. Joe is likely going along with it as he knows Love is crazy and he wants to be close to the new woman. Joe will use the guise of the “helpful neighbor” to find his way into the new woman’s life, when Love isn’t around of course.

I believe the woman will be a completely new character, seeing as Beck is confirmed dead and I doubt it’s his mom because that would be lazy writing. “Oh ya his mom also just so happen to be in LA”, I truly believe the writers are smarter than that. I do believe his mom will show up in the season but again, I’ll circle back to it. I think she’ll be a mix of the best traits Beck and Love, without the many flaws.

Joe will flashback to how his obsession with the woman started. I actually think that Forty’s movie ended up getting made, and Joe is put on the map as a talented young producer due to the movie’s success. He will get contracted to a large studio, where I believe he could’ve met the woman. I like the idea of Joe being a movie producer as 1. I doubt he’d be a stay at home dad 2. I don’t think he’d stay as a random worker at Anavrin, and 3. I like the idea of Joe continuing to help make movies to honor Forty’s memory.

I also believe he might’ve first discovered the woman while looking for a their new home. Either way, I believe Joe manipulates Love into getting home next to the woman.

Overtime Joe will do what he usually does, however using the many skills he’s acquired in the first two seasons and close proximity to be an increasingly more adept stalker. I do think his new fame, however, will make it harder for him to sneak anonymously like used he used too. He’ll continue to use the excuse of “work” and helping the woman fix up her house. She might even have a husband, who’s not around much and is of course someone Joe find “unfit” to be a proper partner to her. This guy will be around longer seeing as Joe can easily dispatch early him like he did Benji.

Joe will of course begin to murder the threats to the potential relationship, while also try to devise a way he can dispatch Love after the baby’s birth. We’ll see Joe truly trying to enact a long term plan and exit strategy, so the he, his “dream woman”, and his child can live happily ever after away from the Quinn realm of influence. This means he will have to keep Love content, likely marrying her early in the season.

While all of this is going on, I think some of the New York cast will appear in LA, having grown increasingly suspicious due to the many deaths that occur around Joe. We’ll likely see the return of the Investigator the Salinger’s hired trying to uncover the full story.

By the mid season Love will have realized Joe’s new obsession. She will begin to become more controlling towards Joe, pulling all the classic stalker tricks with the endless resources at her disposal and maybe even drugging his food in order to confine him too the house. She will also becoming increasingly aggressive towards the new woman, making small thinly veiled threats.

As for Joe’s mom, I think she’ll appear a changed woman. Having gotten married to a better man and starting a new happy family. I think she will show up to give Joe some closure and make him question his actions. Just like Candace and Delilah, she will make Joe realize the he’s wrong. This play into the ending in a big way and the show going forward.

As for the ending I have two theories on how it could end depending on whether or not they wanted to continue the show.

Either way, I believe the season will end with Joe killing the woman’s husband and Love killing the woman. They will ultimately end up in a stalemate, both of them drastically changed. They will continue to live indifferent to one another until Love goes into labor.

Ending #1: If they decide Season 3 is the last season then this is how they should end it. Love is labor and Joe is there by her side. The baby comes out and it’s a little girl. Joe then starts his usual “Hello You” monologue.

Example: “Hello You. As the doctors bring you up to the light, I see your beautiful porcelain skin and tuft of brown hair. You cry out, pulled from your mother into a new scary world. You cry because you need some to protect. I will be there, protecting you, guiding you to your full potential. I will never leave, You.

Basically the series ends with Joe’s new obsession being his daughter, him wanting to protect her from the world.

Ending #2: If they decide to continue the series this is how they set up the next season. Love of course goes into labor and when the baby is born, he falls back in love with Love.

Example: “As you lay there, tears and sweat streaming along your face, you’re glowing. Holding this new life we made together, it’s like seeing you for the first time. Candace, Beck, [Insert New Woman’s Name], they were a fluke. This is the real deal Love. You are all I need. I want to be with You.”

Basically Joe and Love become a murderous power couple and the next would revolve around them both trying to curb their violent and obsessive impulses while taking care of their new child (or maybe twins). Their past crimes begin to come to the light and they have to fight to preserve this new family they’ve built.

Sorry the examples might be corny, I just can’t mimic Penn Badgley’s monologues. Either way, you get what I’m getting at.

So ya, thoughts?

We don't know what's in store for "You" season three — but we can certainly try to figure it out. Netflix

Not long after season two of Netflix's "You" was released, the thriller was renewed for a third season.

While waiting for the next installment of episodes to drop, viewers are left with many questions and speculations about the future of Joe (Penn Badgley) and Love (Victoria Pedretti).

Here are some popular fan theories that could come true on season three of "You."

Warning: Major spoilers for Netflix's "You" ahead.

Contraception isn't always foolproof. Netflix

Some fans think it's possible that Milo (Andrew Creer), the friend of Love's ex-husband who she dated briefly after realizing Joe had lied about his identity, is actually the father of Love's baby.

This is a plausible theory because it isn't made clear that Love and Joe had sex together during or after her relationship with Milo, and there was no indication that she was pregnant before she broke up with Joe.

At one point, Love tells Joe that she knows the baby isn't Milo's because she made him use protection, but there's a chance she lied about that to save herself. After all, Joe was going to kill her just before she revealed she was pregnant.

Also, most forms of contraception aren't foolproof — Love might believe the baby is Joe's only to later realize it's Milo's.

She could've used some of her money to find a sperm donor. Netflix

Another fan pointed out that it's possible neither Milo nor Joe are the baby's father.

Perhaps Love could have pursued having a baby using artificial insemination.

Throughout season two, Love showed a deep desire to have a child, telling Joe that having a baby would create for her a type of family that she never experienced before.

Given the Quinn family's resources, it's possible that she chose to pursue her dream of motherhood on her own during her brief period between being with Milo and getting back together with Joe.

It may seem far-fetched, but "You" is a show known for it's shocking and terrifying moments, so we can't rule anything out completely.

Love's penchant for cooking combined with the fact that she's killed before and lied about it means it's possible that she figured out a way to slowly poison James with her food. Netflix

Many fans think it's possible that Love murdered her late husband James (Daniel Durant) because he didn't want to have a baby. More specifically, since she is a chef, some believe that she slowly poisoned him over time with baked goods.

During season two, it's revealed that Love was once married to a man named James, who died of a mysterious illness. James also happened to die shortly after the couple had a major fight about whether or not to have a baby.

At one point, Love vaguely tells Joe that doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with James and he passed away as a result.

Also, during season two, she baked Joe a pastry that was sneakily loaded with salt — not quite poison, but it shows she's not afraid to mess with someone's food.

Maybe he's not so forgiving after all. Netflix

Some fans believe that the real Will Bettelheim (Robin Lord Taylor), who Joe captured and locked in the glass box, will return on season three to get revenge.

It's certainly possible considering how odd it was was that Will not only maintained contact with Joe after being released, but also cultivated a friendship with Joe and agreed never to turn him in to the police.

During the finale of season two, we are also shown a postcard from Will to Joe that says, "Haven't heard from you for a while. Everything OK?"

It seems that Will is trying to keep in touch with Joe and is concerned about being cut off. Perhaps it could be because he's hoping to seek revenge in the future.

It seems like Dottie will play a role on season three. Netflix

After seeing Love's mom Dottie Quinn (Saffron Burrows) at Love and Joe's new house on the season-two finale, some fans believe that she could be one of Joe's next victims.

It's unclear whether Love's mother is living with the couple in their new home or if she's just there to help with the move, but it is possible that (having seemingly mended her relationship with her daughter) she will appear more often throughout season three.

If Joe finds her presence threatening for any reason, it's possible he could murder her. After all, he already watched fellow Quinn family member Forty (James Scully) die — and we all know Joe's not afraid to get blood on his hands.

Maybe the Salinger family will come for Joe. Netflix

A number of fans believe that, during season three, the jar of pee that Joe left at the Salinger estate will finally be found, helping to implicate Joe in the death of Peach (Shay Mitchell).

This theory is possible because Joe mentions the pee jar a couple of times throughout season two, suggesting that he believes the evidence to be a threat.

Notably, according to Healthline, it's difficult to extract DNA from urine and it's hard to reliably test DNA that's found in urine. But the jar could still play a major role in incriminating Joe, especially if someone starts to look closer at Beck's book, just like Forty did.

And as some fans speculate, the private investigator that the Salinger family hired to look into Peach's death could be the person to put all of these pieces together.

If he learns that Forty was killed, he might try to tell the truth about Joe. Netflix

After the season-two finale, fans were left wondering why Dr. Nicky (John Stamos) refused to help Forty put Joe in jail.

And so, some believe that during season three Dr. Nicky will find out that Forty has been killed and it will inspire him to finally reveal the information that Forty gave him in order to put an end to Joe's killing streak.

As Redditor meowieu pointed out, Dr. Nicky recorded all of his therapy sessions with Beck (Elizabeth Lail) and Joe during season one. It's possible that pairing these recordings with the information from Beck's book could implicate Joe in Beck's death.

Ellie could also use Joe's money to do it. Netflix

Some fans think that Forty's movie adaptation of Beck's book "The Dark Face of Love" will be completed and released by Ellie (Jenna Ortega) during season three.

This makes sense since Ellie had been working with Forty to write the script for the adaption of the book. She's also interested in filmmaking and has been receiving money from Joe.

Making the film could also help Ellie realize the truth about Joe. After all, if Forty put together the pieces that it was Beck's ex-boyfriend who likely killed her, Ellie might be able to do the same.
