Do dashers on DoorDash see your tip? I see that this is an old question. Let me update you. DoorDash had a PR fiasco a couple of weeks ago when it was revealed that they were skimming our tips to make base pay. So about two weeks ago, at the end of each delivery we make, we can hit a button that says Break down and we can see exactly what you tipped us, including the $0.00 tip. We arent doing this for free, just as you arent doing your job for free. If you are to order through door Dash again, yes, we do have regulars, and if we see that it is going to a person who makes a habit of not tipping, we can decline to take your order. If one dasher declined 3 1 / your order, it will be sent out to another dasher They too can decline your order, and so on and so on. Just like dining out in a restaurant, if you cannot afford to leave a tip or if you dont want to, then you CANNOT afford to eat out and you have NO business ordering takeout to be delivered.
