'Neighbour from hell': James Franco has been accused of running a major production company out of his Silver Lake home in Los Angeles
James Franco's neighbours have lodged formal complaints to authorities, claiming he is a resident from hell.
As MailOnline reported earlier this month, Franco was accused of running a 'major production' company from his $750,000 home.
Neighbour in the exclusive Silver Lake area of Los Angeles hit out about dozens of people coming and going from his mansion.
They said it is being used for film shoots and speculate that the 34-year-old star does not even live there.
Now further grievances are coming to light, with another resident explaining how film crews are snarling up the streets, making parking impossible, and putting children at risk with the increased traffic flow, TMZ reports.
Another neighbour has hit out saying Franco's filming productions create a huge amount of trash which is blowing over into her property.
The woman, who was not named by the website, also alleged Franco's security team 'leer' at her 'every chance they get'.
Now 'multiple' residents have lodged formal complaints with the Los Angeles Housing Department, according to TMZ.
Earlier this month, on disgruntled neighbour told Curbed Los Angeles: 'At first, my partner and I were pleased to have Mr Franco living next door.
'His work in Milk and his academic pursuits made us happy he was on our street. That is no longer the case.

'If, in fact, Mr Franco has purchased the house next door, it does not appear to be inhabited by the actor; it does appear to be inhabited by several people who are working for him.
'In addition, over the course of the last weeks the individuals living on the property appear to be running a MAJOR production company out of the house and have also used it for shoots. '
In an email to the website the couple complain about crowds of people at the property with some holding business meetings outside.
'[They] treat us as if we are eavesdropping sycophants when we walk out our gate to our car; and as I write this, they've set up hair and make-up in their driveway.
'When I asked Iris about this, Iris basically informed me they could do whatever they want on their property. Really? Running a production of such impact and magnitude in a residential area doesn't violate any zoning restrictions? Are there no limits to the kinds of businesses one can run?

'We like James Franco and we like some of his movies,' the anonymous complainant signs off. 'But we're not so enamoured of his presence that we are willing to give up our sanity in our own home.'
The complaint comes as Franco revealed he lost lucrative advertising deals over his involvement with films about the porn industry.
The 'Oz the Great and Powerful' star produced 'Kink', a documentary about a hardcore porn studio.
He also directed 'Interior: Leather Bar' - which features gay sex scenes.
But his involvement with the 'risky' projects was off putting to companies looking to sign Franco to an endorsement deal.
He admitted: 'It is a risk. The films I have did get a lot of praise, but I did get some pressure from other areas.

'I was supposed to do a commercial with this company and they pulled out because they weren't happy, they didn't like the subject matter of the films.
'It was a champagne company. You'd think they'd be grown up enough but I've had it happen with this company and a car company as well.'
Franco, whose films include 127 Hours said he will not be put off from taking on film projects just because others disapprove.
'If I'm at the threshold of doing a project and the question comes up, 'Will this be harmful to your career?', I never want that to be a deciding factor.' he told Attitude Magazine.
Franco will next be seen playing Playboy founder Hugh Hefner in the film Lovelace which tells the true life story of the adult film star Linda Lovelace.

Amber Heard has been caught in another lie, this time involving another Hollywood personality. Heard was accused of having an affair with numerous affluent men during her stay in Depp’s multi-million dollar penthouse apartment in New York City. Billy Bob Thornton, James Franco, and Elon Musk are just a few of these men.
Amber Heard was accused of cheating on Johnny Depp with James Franco following the revelation of CCTV footage of the two entering the elevator at New York City penthouse apartment.
In the footage Amber Heard exits the penthouse elevator and appears to allow James Franco, who looks to be carrying an overnight bag, into the building before accompanying him to the elevators and escorting him to Depp’s rooftop apartments.
Heard’s lawyer, Eric George, fired back at the cheating allegations and told The Blast, “this bogus story is just another lame attempt by Johnny Depp and his team to spread deliberately misleading information through the media so that he can continue to attack and abuse his ex-wife.”
He continued: “Amber Heard and James Franco once lived in the same apartment complex and were simply taking an elevator at the same time. Period.”
“It’s pathetic,” he concluded about the allegations.

However, in a (not so) shocking turn of events, Amber Heard’s neighbour has now confirmed that this is in fact footage from Depp’s New York penthouse apartment and revealed that Franco did not live there!
Ami Goodheart, who has lived in the building for a longer period than Heard and Depp and still currently still resides there, explained that James Franco never lived there.
“One thing about the Eastern Columbia Building is like, it’s a very special building, a lot of artists live here but we all know each other. We have our own coffee shop where we drink wine and coffee, we have our own Facebook group, you know, between us and everybody knows each other’s business,” Ami Goodheart explained.
She continued: “But the thing about the James Franco is I lived there before they [Depp and Heard] lived there. You think I’d know if he moved in? 100 percent he didn’t!”
Ami Goodheart continues to analyse the video where, according to Heard’s attorney, James Franco and Amber Heard were not getting together to have an affair.
“Let me tell you about this elevator right now. So, here she gets in on the penthouse elevator floor,” she says before going into details about the three separate elevators in the Eastern Columbia Building.
“But the mezzanine level, which she hits on that but that I’m very familiar with right there, that’s where there is a separate door, not the front door, to go to the parking lot and you need a key-fob to get in and out. If you don’t live there, which James Franco doesn’t, you need to have somebody come let you in.”
Ami says that you clearly see Amber Heard get out off the elevator briefly to let James Franco in through the locked door before getting back into the elevator with him.
“There’s no way he could have gotten in, because he doesn’t live there,” Ami adds.
Andy Signore points out that Amber Heard is the only one to press a button in the elevator which Heard’s neighbour confirms to be the penthouse floor.
“He can’t even live there [penthouse floor], because Johnny let all these other people live in his penthouses. Like, where would James Franco live? Downstairs to me? There’s no room!”
Johnny Depp confirmed that all of his penthouse apartments at the Eastern Columbia Building in New York City were occupied during the time.
Elon Musk was also spotted getting into the elevator, and even getting intimate, with Amber Heard in the elevators of the Eastern Columbia Building while she was still married to Johnny Depp.
