Love island australia season 3 cast

On Monday, October 11, 2021, the third season of Love Island Australia premiered on the Nine Network and 9Now, hosted by Sophie Monk and narrated by Stephen Mullan. Love Island follows a group of participants, known as Islanders (on the programme), who live in a villa in Byron Bay, isolated from the outside world and under 24/7 camera monitoring. The Islanders must be paired up with another Islander to survive in the villa, whether for love, friendship, or money, as the ultimate winning couple wins $50,000. The Islanders couple up for the first time based on initial impressions on the first day, however they are compelled to "re-couple" during the series, where they can opt to stay in their current relationship or switch and change.

Love Island Australia Season 3 Where Are They Now?

1. Noah and Courtney:

The couple is no longer together. The duo was eliminated from season 3 in the penultimate episode after having a complicated romance with Noah when he entered the Villa as a bomb. Courtney had said that being in a long-distance relationship appears not to be excellent in real life.

2. Taku and Michela:

The couple is pretty much still together, and they had confirmed it in an interview and said that "She and I are exclusive at the moment, and I don't want to see anyone else holding her hand, and the couple is trying to spend every moment with each other in the Villa.

3. Ryan and Tayla:

Tayla had confirmed that she is no longer in a relationship with Ryan, and she had announced her breakup through her Instagram story with a Q&A session with her co-stars Ari and Michela.

4. Jess and Aaron:

Jess and Aaron have called it quits, and in the finale episode, the couple had made it clear they were no longer together and not posting about their relationship on social media and with their fellow co-stars.

5. Zoe and Chris:

Going into the finale, Zoe and Chris were one of the Villa's most powerful couples. We don't think their love story will stop anytime soon, even if they didn't win. In the second-to-last episode, the couple went on one last date, enjoying a horseback ride along the beach.

6. Tina and Mitch:

After winning the series last week, the couple has told they are still pretty much together. Both are doing long-distance relationships for the time being until everything normalise and travelling in between Melbourne and Sydney to spend quality time with each other.

Will these sexy singles be vibing for all eternity? Let's see who's still going strong. - by Tina Burke

After taking a break due to the pandemic, Love Island Australia returned to our screens this year with a bang. Shock eliminations, brutal splits, and one of the wildest Casa Amor moments the franchise has ever seen: this season certainly delivered on the drama.

It also delivered on the "true love stories," as cute couples with even cuter couple names like TITCH and JAARON formed in the Love Island Villa.

With Tina and Mitch taking out the title of Love Island Australia Winners for 2021 - and walking away with $50,000 in prize money - fans have officially seen the end of the on-screen romances.

But, which couples are committed on the outside? Who is exclusive and who has already called it quits? Scroll through to find out which Love Island Australia Season 3 couples are still together.

Sad news for all the Zoe and Chris fans out there, but this gorgeous couple have announced their split just one month after the finale.

"We have decided that’s it’s best we stay as friends rather than in a relationship. It’s been a long journey filled with nothing but happiness and love. But at the end of the day there’s more to a relationship than just having similar personalities or qualities," they said in a joint statement shared by Love Island Australia on December 20.

"We both expected to grow once outside the Villa, but unfortunately it’s just not how things turn out sometimes and life happens. We are very supportive of one another and there is absolutely no bad blood or spite between us. We just think it’s better to stay close as friends to maintain the amazing relationship we already have."

On her own Instagram page, Zoe further explained: "Over the last few weeks, I have realised that I’m not as ready as I thought I was for a relationship. I didn’t realise until being in a healthy loving relationship, that I really do have some past issues that have stuck with me.

"Chris has done nothing but support me and give me all the love in the world, and I’m so thankful and appreciative of him."

We've got to admit, we're sad about this one! They were one of the strongest couples heading into the finale.

Are Noah & Courtney still together?

Our sincere apologies to any COAH fans out there, but Courtney confirmed their split to WHO the day after their final episode aired.

The duo were eliminated from the show in the penultimate episode, after a rocky road to romance when Noah entered the Villa as a bomb. Courtney admits that doing long distance - with border closures between Australian states - appears to have been their undoing.

"I live on the Gold Coast and Noah lives in Melbourne," she said. "We've been out of the Villa for about two and a bit weeks and we've been texting, and face-timing.

"I think so highly of him. But we have such a fragile, new connection and unfortunately for us it's a bit of an awkward situation [with the distance]. We're still talking and getting to know each other as friends, but at this point in time we are just friends," she said, adding "I wish" when we confirmed they were not exclusive.

A few days later on November 30, Noah would double down on the news by telling fans they were done.

"I just wanted to confirm, me and Courtney have decided to go our separate ways. I wish her nothing but the best," he said on Instagram. "She'll always be a huge part of my life and Love Island journey. I'll always be there supporting her."

Are Taku & Michela still together?

It took him a while to get there, but Taku managed to turn "friend island" into "love island" when Michela arrived. After being eliminated from the Villa, Taku confirmed they were in an exclusive relationship in an interview with WHO.

"Me and her are exclusive at the moment … I don’t want to see anyone else, and I just really want to see this through," Taku confirmed. "We are trying to find our feet at the moment, but so far, so good."

We had our fingers crossed for these two, as they kept up the flirty banter on Instagram in the finale week, but it looks like things might have fizzled for them since.

With Taku still regularly posting about "friend island" and not mentioning Michela on his social media, it seems like things may not be going well for the duo. Eagle-eyed fans recently noticed that they had unfollowed each other on Instagram, the ultimate sign of a reality TV split.

Kayla also captioned her latest post to say "she's a keeper," potentially hinting at being newly single. This is love and splits in the digital age, people.

We're hopeful these two will work things out, but it's looking like they may have gone their separate ways.

Are Ryan & Tayla still together?

Another one bites the dust! Tayla has confirmed she's no longer with Ryan, announcing the break-up in an Instagram Stories Q&A with her co-stars Ari and Michela.

"No, I’m definitely not with him," she said. "I wish him all the best... but yeah, he is just not my kind of guy. Not my morals."

"Australia was right, and he definitely proved that," she added, in her own Q&A when she answered the same question.

"I did actually like him, but I was apprehensive. I did give him the benefit of the doubt, we were going to do a road trip together and I flew to Sydney, but I’ve learnt the hard way…” she said, trailing off.

It should come as no surprise that the relationship between Ryan and Tayla came to an end. When they left the Villa, it wasn't exactly all sunshine and rainbows.

"We’re just going to take it slow, but we’re definitely still talking and we’ll see where it will all go,” Tayla confirmed to WHO following her elimination.

"At the end of the day, if the connection’s right, you make it work," Ryan added.

Are Jess & Aaron still together?

Look, Aaron may have been thinking about leaving the Villa like one week before the finale, but JAARON appeared to be stronger than ever at the end of the season. Even agreeing to be exclusive after one last romantic rendezvous on the show.

"I haven't felt a bond like this ever," Jess told Aaron in the second-last episode. "I am ready to go all in."

HOWEVER. Following the finale it became clear that Jess and Aaron were no longer loved-up, posting nothing about their relationship while their fellow co-stars shared happy updates. Aaron posted an Instagram Carousel about the amazing time he had on the show but did not include any photos of Jess in his post (she was even missing in group shots).

Jess then confirmed the news on her Instagram Stories, after the cast were seen partying together the first weekend after the finale aired.

"Hey guys, a lot of people have been asking about Aaron and I. Unfortunately we are no longer together," she wrote. "We both agreed it's for the best for the both of us. Appreciate all of your love and support."

In an interview with 9Now, Aaron confirmed the drama that almost saw him leave the Villa - where Jess believed he gave her a "filthy look" when her "boob popped out" - was part of the cause.

"We still had issues seeing eye to eye on a situation in the Villa," he said. "I wanted to move past it, and at least thought we could grow from it, but there was no real growth there, so I just felt like it was best to part ways."

Further clarifying on Instagram, Aaron told his followers he had given the relationship his all but it was ultimately time to end things.

"Obviously Jess and I have broken up. In the Villa we obviously went through a rocky stage and had things we were going through, then on the outside the same sort of stuff kept coming up and, for me, that’s not something that I feel like should be coming up," he said.

"We did spend some time together outside of the Villa. I know a lot of people think we got out of the Villa and went our separate ways but that’s not the case, we were together but unfortunately it just didn’t work out. Sometimes in life things like that happen.

"I put everything I had into it, in the Villa and on the outside, but sometimes you just have to worry about yourself, put yourself first and if it’s not healthy and it’s not doing you well in any sort of way anymore I think it’s best if you just move past it. So that’s what I have done."

Are Tina & Mitch still together?

Hey all you TITCH fans, good news. After winning the series Mitch and Tina have confirmed to WHO that they are absolutely still together.

In the penultimate episode of season three, Mitch asked Tina to be his first-ever girlfriend after enjoying a romantic helicopter ride and we were left thinking, what is this? The Bachelor? We were loving the date budget this year.

"To be here with you, I could not be happier," Mitch told Tina on their final date. "I've never felt about anyone in such a strong way. We've just got stronger and stronger."

Now that they're back in the real world, this loved-up duo are just looking forward to doing normal couple things at normal couple speed. They've been doing long distance for now as they settle into regular life post-show, travelling between Melbourne and Sydney to spend time together.

Admittedly, things took a bit of a turn when they recently encountered COVID in Melbourne - but, even in isolation with their Love Island co-stars, these two are still going strong.
