Lies and deception have permeated Netflix’s Control Z from the very beginning when a mysterious hacker began terrorizing students at Colegio Nacional (National School) as early as Season 1 and eventually revealed himself to be the scheming Raúl Leon.

In season 3, Raúl’s old account, @allyoursecrets, unexpectedly becomes active again, threatening to overthrow Sofia and the gang’s role in the death of the school’s ex-principal, Susana, who accidentally fell to death in the season 2 finale.

Naturally, questions immediately arise as to the identity of this new hacker, but just who is behind the @allyoursecrets account in Control Z season 3?

The mystery in Control Z season 3

After an agonizing 11-month wait following the cliffhanger ending of Season 2, Control Z’s third installment arrived on Netflix on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

The story picks up immediately after Susana’s shocking accidental death, and the group agrees to make a pact to keep their involvement a secret.

However, 15 months later, as the students are about to graduate from Colegio Nacional, the hacker known as @allyoursecrets from Season 1 – who turned out to be Raúl – reappears, threatening to reveal the group’s role in Susana’s death. and dash their hopes for the future.

But Raúl claims he’s no longer in control of the account, leaving Sofia no choice but to take matters into her own hands and find out who’s behind the new threat before it’s too late.

Who is the hacker in Control Z season 3?

***Another front spoiler warning***

The hacker behind @allyoursecrets in Control Z season 3 turns out to be Bruno.

Bruno was the school’s IT manager until he was fired in Season 1 for aiding the original hacker by helping spread the students’ secrets.

In episode 7 of season 3, Sofia manages to find Bruno and he confesses that he was the one who reactivated the @allyoursecrets account and threatened to reveal the role of Sofia and the gang in Susana’s death.

However, Bruno claims he is no longer responsible for the group behind the account as the students he recruited into the ranks of @allyoursecrets have turned against him and are threatening to kill him.

But this turns out to be the latest in a long line of disappointments as the final episode of Season 3 confirms that Bruno is indeed the man in charge when Sofia comes face to face with members of @allyoursecrets.

She persuades the rest of the group to take off their masks and stop doing Bruno’s bidding, leaving Bruno as the only one still wearing his mask.

Javier questions the identity of the hacker

As Bruno confesses to being the Control Z season 3 hacker, the final moments of episode 8 cast new doubt on the identity of @allyoursecrets.

In a final conversation between Javier and Sofia, Javier suggests a theory – Raúl was the one behind the story all along.

Javier’s theory speculates that Raúl used the hacker’s re-emergence to get closer to Sofia and win back her affections after the pair started out as love interests in Season 1.

When @allyoursecrets reappears at the start of Season 3, Raúl is shunned by the rest of the school as they believe he is still the hacker until he suffers a series of misfortunes that seem to absolve him of any suspicion. including losing all of his money, his family home and his motorbike in an accident.

But Javier is not convinced as he suggests that Raúl faked these misfortunes to win back Sofia and used Bruno as a pawn in his scheme.

Although it is never confirmed that Raúl is really the hacker, Javier’s theory seems entirely plausible as the final scene of season 3 sees Raúl and Sofia riding a shiny new motorcycle together, suggesting that Raúl is not wasn’t as broke as he claimed.

The show’s writers even acknowledge the ambiguous ending as Sofia’s last line of dialogue in the show is, “I guess you’ll never know.”

He is comes from a rich family. However, he doesn’t have a very good relationship with his father as he is sometimes abused by him. He started exposing secrets as well before they knew he was a hacker. He exposed Isabela De La Fuente for being transgender, Pablo Garcia for cheating on Isabela with another girl, Natalia Alexander for theft, Gerry for watching gay porn due to his bisexuality, and himself, of course, for trying to find out his father's corruption. He later exposed Javier Williams for the accidental death of his best friend, and also Sofía Herrera for her dad faking his death after a fire burned the house down. Sofia and Javier also found out that he is the hacker. Everyone was disappointed in him for his wrongdoing. So Gerry arrived to kill him so Javier took a gun and Gerry shot him on accident, but little did he know, he left on a motorcycle.

Raúl initially knew she was different from others, and eventually started liking her. Every time his friends would make fun of Sofia, he hated it. Unlike many others, Raúl cared about Sofia and how she was feeling and doing. When Sofia was in the hospital, he was there and almost tried to pay the nurse just to see her and told the nurse to tell him when Sofia feels better. Later on, Raúl was the first person to ask Sofia for help to try to find out who the hacker was. It is revealed throughout the ending of the season that the reason he became the hacker was because he loved Sofia, he was jealous of the relationship between Sofia and Javier, so he encouraged her thoughts that Javier was the hacker. They have slept together one time and have kissed multiple times.

(season 2) After the school finds out he was the hacker he still came to school even though people would try and fight him because he wanted to be with Sofia. He tried asking for forgiveness but she didn’t accept his apology. He got sent into the office and he saw her waiting outside and asked if she was worried about him. Gerry gave Raúl advice and told him to give her what she want which was finding out who the avenger was so he offered to help her find him so she could forgive him but she didn't forgive him yet. Sofia went to his house to tell him how she felt when he betrayed her, she then later comes to his house because she knew he was hiding Gerry but he tells her he escaped and she helps him find him. They go back to his house they were fighting and ended hooking up (they hooked up again later on)In the morning she over hears Quintanilla say he’s blackmailing him and she gets mad that he didn’t tell her truth but importantly that she trusted him again. (They slept together 3 times and kissed multiple times)
